Merge `starbase/main` into `main` and sync Starbase-managed updates. ### Overview of Starbase changes pulled in - CI/CD workflows: refreshed `.github/workflows/check-renovate.yaml` (bump setup-uv to v10.3.0) and `.github/workflows/release-publish.yaml` (use `uv build`, `uvx twine check`, tag guards); added `.github/workflows/copilot-setup-steps.yaml`. - Shared Makefile tooling: refreshed `common.mk` (removed deprecated mypy/pyright targets, updated docs help message). - Linters & pre-commit: updated `ruff-pre-commit` to `v0.17.3` in `.pre-commit-config.yaml`. - Documentation & guidance: updated `CONTRIBUTING.md`, `docs/README.md`, `docs/conf.py` (`llms_txt_description` guidance), and `AGENTS.md` (make docs targets instruction). ### Conflict resolution applied - Kept child-repo version of `.github/actionlint.yaml` (`--ours`, preserving self-hosted runner `linux` label). - Kept child-repo version of `.github/workflows/qa.yaml` (`--ours`). - Kept child-repo version of `pyproject.toml` (`--ours`, preserving child-owned dependencies and typing configurations). - Kept child-repo version of `uv.lock` (`--ours`). - Took full `.github/workflows/check-renovate.yaml` from `starbase/main` (source-of-truth file). - Updated `.pre-commit-config.yaml` to take newer `ruff-pre-commit` pin `v0.17.3` from `starbase/main`. - Reconciled `docs/conf.py` with Starbase header comments while deriving `llms_txt_description` from `docs/index.rst`. - For this application repo: - kept `AGENTS.app.md` deleted, - kept `AGENTS.lib.md` deleted, - kept `AGENTS.md` authoritative and applied relevant documentation target guidance from `AGENTS.app.md`. - Removed Starbase-scaffold-only additions not applicable to Charmcraft: - kept `.github/README.md` deleted, - kept `docs/explanation/documentation.rst` deleted, - kept `tests/unit/starbase/test_init.py` deleted. ### Validation Ran and passed: - `make format` - `make lint` - `make docs` - `make test-fast`
