Re-enable non-ubuntu tests
Metadata
Current evaluation
Closed as stale without re-enabling non-Ubuntu tests; #176 (commit daf3d909) remained unreverted, and the only follow-up was automated Jira ticket CRAFT-2610.
Resolution: closed stale
Reason: No resolving PR or commit re-enabled the tests after #176; repository history contains no revert, and the sole issue comment was the bot-created CRAFT-2610 ticket. The requested LXD-dependent restoration was abandoned as stale.

Issue body
### What needs to get done
Revert https://github.com/canonical/craft-application/pull/176
### Why it needs to get done
The latest changes to LXD have temporarily rendered it unusable for all non-Ubuntu systems. We'll need to wait for it to be fixed to re-add these tests.
