Merge `starbase/main` into this branch and sync Starbase-managed updates. ### Overview of Starbase changes pulled in: - Build-system updates in `common.mk` replacing `mypy`/`pyright` with `ty` for type checking - Workflow updates including new `copilot-setup-steps.yaml` and updated actions pins - Linter hook updates in `.pre-commit-config.yaml` - Documentation tooling updates and guidance for `llms_txt_description` in `docs/conf.py` ### Conflict resolution applied: - Kept child-repo version of `.github/workflows/qa.yaml` (`--ours`). - Kept child-repo version of `pyproject.toml` dependency-groups and project settings (`--ours`). - Kept child-repo version of `uv.lock` (`--ours`). - Took full `.github/workflows/check-renovate.yaml` from `starbase/main` (source-of-truth file). - Adopted newer `ruff-pre-commit` pin in `.pre-commit-config.yaml` from `starbase/main`. - For this library repo: - kept `AGENTS.lib.md` deleted, - kept `AGENTS.app.md` deleted, - kept `.github/README.md` deleted, - kept `tests/unit/starbase/test_init.py` deleted, - kept `AGENTS.md` authoritative and applied relevant updates from `AGENTS.lib.md`. ### Verification: - `make format` passed. - `make lint` passed (`ruff`, `ty`, `codespell`, `prettier`, `tombi`, `sphinx-lint`, `vale`, `linkcheck`, `twine`, `uv lock --check`). - `make docs` passed with no warnings. - `uv run pytest tests/unit/` fast tests verified.
