The bug ([LP#2104066](https://bugs.launchpad.net/snapd/+bug/2104066)) was thought to be fixed in snapd 2.71, but we are still seeing the issue. The snapd team is investigating in [SNAPDENG-36387](https://warthogs.atlassian.net/browse/SNAPDENG-36387) and https://github.com/canonical/snapd/pull/16544.
