building a package on launchpad where the environment is set to --no-install-recommends results in a completely different build result vs doing a local build at home. snapcraft should make sure to override --no-install-recommends or it should enforce its usage for local build, i think either way is fine as long as we achieve consistency ... examples: https://launchpadlibrarian.net/218891649/buildlog_snap_ubuntu_vivid_amd64_wget_BUILDING.txt.gz (installs: libssl1.0.0, libidn11, wget) vs a local build of the same snapcraft packaging tree: http://paste.ubuntu.com/12573213/ (installs: libssl1.0.0, libidn11, init-system-helpers, uuid-runtime, openssl, ca-certificates, wget, update-motd)
