Current evaluation

Subversion source support was merged in PR #567 (commit 0e1ec16e6), shipped in snapcraft 2.12, and verified successfully before release to Ubuntu -updates.

Resolution: closed resolved

Reason: PR #567 added Subversion source support in commit 0e1ec16e6. The 2.12 package successfully built, installed, and ran a Subversion-sourced snap, then was released to -updates.

Issue body

Yes, some people still use it. [Impact] * It is hard to make a snap from a project that is hosted in a subversion server. [Test Case] * Define a snapcraft.yaml from a project that uses subversion. * Run snapcraft, install and execute the snap. [Regression Potential] * Low. This touches the sources file, which might affect the rest of the sources. We have extensive suite using different sources, so we should be covered.
