Current evaluation

Fixed in Snapcraft 2.12.1 by PR #635 (f35b0992a); the proposed launchpad-buildd workaround was reverted.

Resolution: closed resolved

Reason: The maintainer explicitly confirmed that the remote-parts cache problem was fixed in Snapcraft 2.12.1 rather than in launchpad-buildd, whose proposed change was reverted. PR #635 fixed parts-cache handling in commit f35b0992a.
