unusual mode 'rwxr-xr-x' for symlink '
Metadata
Current evaluation
A Click Apps build failed with “unusual mode 'rwxr-xr-x' for symlink”; the affected paths, complete logs, and reproduction details were never provided.
Suggested action: needs triage
Reason: The report says the build failed “for many” symlinks but provides no offending paths, full logs, Snapcraft version, or minimal recipe. With no labels, assignee, comments, or maintainer assessment—and no positive evidence of an obsolete subsystem—it remains untriaged despite its age.

The build has failed for many `unusual mode 'rwxr-xr-x' for symlink'`. I'm not sure what is wrong with these symlinks, they all have the expected permissions.
