Current evaluation

Fixed by PRs #1315 and #1316, updating LXD platform mocking and running unit tests with mocked armhf.

Resolution: closed resolved

Reason: Commit 6387808d2 from PR #1315 mocked the platform in FakeLXD, and commit b1e2a0e11 from PR #1316 ran Travis unit tests with mocked armhf.

Issue body

The unit tests in the nightly executions started failing because the expected result in the LXD tests doesn't take into account that the --target-arch argument is added in this platform. Here's the full log of a failed execution: https://objectstorage.prodstack4-5.canonical.com/v1/AUTH_77e2ada1e7a84929a74ba3b87153c0ac/autopkgtest-xenial-snappy-dev-snapcraft-daily/xenial/armhf/s/snapcraft/20170512_034453_9d23d@/log.gz You can see there, for example, that the actual call is: ['lxc', 'exec', 'local:snapcraft-snap-test', '--env', 'HOME=/build_snap-test', '--', 'snapcraft', 'snap', '--output', 'snap-test_1.0_amd64.snap', '--target-arch', 'armhf'] and the expected is: ['lxc', 'exec', 'local:snapcraft-snap-test', '--env', 'HOME=/build_snap-test', '--', 'snapcraft', 'snap', '--output', 'snap-test_1.0_amd64.snap']

stealth/space-bunny-alpha — closed resolved Fixed ARM LXD test failures by mocking platform architecture in FakeLXD; PRs #1315 and #1316 were merged, with Travis also exercising armhf.
stealth/space-bunny-alpha — closed resolved ARM LXD test expectations were updated to include --target-arch, fixing the nightly failures in merged PR #552 (commit 65c1fac).
qwen/qwen3.6-35b-a3b — — Closed without further discussion. Test expectations require updating to account for the --target-arch flag on ARM platforms to resolve nightly build failures.
qwen/qwen3.6-35b-a3b — — Resolved by updating LXD unit test assertions to include the --target-arch argument for ARM builds, fixing the nightly execution failures.
qwen/qwen3.6-35b-a3b — — Abandoned and closed without resolution due to inactivity. The ARM LXD unit test failures caused by the missing --target-arch argument were never patched, likely superseded by newer testing infrastructure.
qwen3.6-35b-a3b-mtp-q6 — — Resolved by updating LXD unit test expectations to include the --target-arch argument for ARM builds, fixing nightly test failures.
