Current evaluation

Expired or invalid macaroon errors were improved in PR #3907, merged as commit 8a854a8de.

Resolution: closed resolved

Reason: Commit 8a854a8de (“store: improve error message for 401 error”) implemented clearer authentication failures for HTTP 401 responses. The later maintainer comment confirms credential error messages were improved.

Preparing to push '/home/travis/build/elopio/ipfs-snap/ipfs_v0.4.13_amd64.snap' to the store. Received 401: '{"error_list": [{"message": "Authorization Required", "code": "macaroon-permission-required"}]}'
