Reason: pjdc diagnosed this as "Gmail is declining to accept messages from the forum" and referred it to Canonical infra (cRT#115397) — the snapcraft repository contains no forum/Discourse signup code to fix. The reporter's last comment states "The activation link worked fine, thanks", so the symptom did not reproduce and no product defect was demonstrated; the remaining deliverability work is owned by infra, not this codebase.

Signup process does not send activation email. Steps to reproduce: 1. go to https://forum.snapcraft.io/ 2. fill in the signup form 3. click on "create new account" button 4. Activation email was no received by gmail. 5. I tried login and click on "resend activation email" button Expected behavior: receive activation email Current behavior: I did not receive the activation email.
