Current evaluation

core24 Qt6 snap with gnome extension aborts with libEGL 'DRI driver not from this Mesa build' because mesa-2404 rev 44 was still 24.0.5; author redirected the report to canonical/mesa-2404#7; unlabelled, no maintainer reply.

Suggested action: close not a bug

Reason: The reporter diagnosed the cause themselves: 'I think mesa-2404 is not up-to-date ... mesa-2404 24.0.5 44 latest/stable canonical' when 24.0.9 was expected, i.e. a stale store revision of the mesa-2404 content snap, not a snapcraft defect. The author then stated 'Probably the wrong place for that bug report' and pointed to https://github.com/canonical/mesa-2404/issues/7, and nothing in the snapcraft tree controls published mesa-2404 revisions (the only related repo change, snapcraft PR #6203 fixing mesa-core24/mesa-2404 naming in the gpu extension cleanup, is unrelated to this store-side version skew). The bug has no labels, no assignee, and no maintainer response in 803 days, so there is no snapcraft-side change that could resolve it. Confidence is moderate rather than high because grep/read tools failed on this mirror so I could not fully rule out a snapcraft-side pin of mesa-2404, and because the upstream mesa-2404#7 status is unknown.
