Current evaluation

WIP PR adding remote LXD / cross-arch support to snapcraft was closed unmerged by sergiusens on 2020-12-15 so the work could move to the new craft-providers package; remote support later landed in craft-providers#55.

Resolution: closed superseded

Reason: Maintainer sergiusens closed the PR unmerged with the comment "Closing this so it can be worked on its new package". The LXD buildd remote support was subsequently implemented in the successor package canonical/craft-providers via PR #55 "lxd: add buildd remote support (CRAFT-260)" (commit ea7ed71, later refined by #57).
