## Situation Snapcraft is supported on WSL, but there's no guidance for setting up the environment to create and test snaps. ## Requirements In **How-to** > **Set up Snapcraft**: - Move the existing _Install the main components_ section into a new _Linux_ section. - Add a new _Windows Subsystem for Linux_ section below the _Linux_ section, and cover the special procedures. As of 2024 these steps were needed for WSL: 1. Enable systemd in WSL 2. Enable snapd in WSL 3. Reboot VM 4. Install Snapcraft
