Reason: The request is valid and still unimplemented: snapcraft/commands/status.py still renders everything with `tabulate(..., tablefmt="plain")` and `emit.message`, and a repo-wide grep for `--format`/`output_format`/`json_output` finds no machine-readable output support. It is triaged (labels Status: Triaged, Type: Enhancement) with maintainer agreement — mr-cal states "support should be added in craft-cli for formatting" and later "Blocked by canonical/craft-cli#278" — so it must stay open, but the work cannot start until the upstream emitter API lands.
