### What needs to get done
In an [upcoming change in Craft Parts](https://github.com/canonical/craft-parts/pull/1262), Snapcraft will gain support for UsrMerge. We need to document:
- The `build-attributes` key will have new UsrMerge options that we need to manually add to the `snapcraft.yaml` reference.
- A changelog entry covering UsrMerge.
@bepri This could probably rolled into a subtask of the next time you bring in the latest Craft Parts.

UsrMerge will be available for all craft apps.
