### Check existing issues - [x] I've verified that this request isn't described by any existing issues. ### Request Don't set `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` and `QT_LIBRARY_PATH` in the desktop extensions. The fix is to apply the fixes from #6016 to `main`. Additionally, Snapcraft should correct the symlinks for `"$SNAP/lxqt-support"` as done in #6016. ### The problem it solves Last year, #5917 added `LD_LIBRARY_PATH` to the extension’s `build-environment`. This prevents Snapcraft from setting a [default `LD_LIBRARY_PATH`](https://github.com/canonical/snapcraft/blob/e8a53bfb50e29918155dedec3bb7298f973f374c/snapcraft/meta/snap_yaml.py#L524-L568), so it had to be moved to the launcher script in #6016. #6016 landed on the `hotfix/8.14` branch. When I merged that branch back to main in [#6104](https://github.com/canonical/snapcraft/pull/6104), the fix in #6016 got partially applied in the merge. Thus, Snapcraft 9.0 never got the fix.
