Reason: Maintainer lengau confirmed armhf support was intentionally removed in PR #2412 (commit 7a1185e) as part of the Charmcraft 4 release, with the 3.x track retained as a workaround. After LXD agreed to keep the status quo and publish no new armhf charms, lengau closed the issue as 'not planned', can re-examining later if a concrete need arises.
