- Uses `go-version: '1.25'` in `.github/workflows/tics.yaml` (matching project Go version and `tests.yaml`).
- Pins `staticcheck` to `@v0.7.0` (the version built for Go 1.25; `v0.8.x` requires Go >= 1.26).
- Builds `gocov` with `golang.org/x/tools@v0.49.0` to avoid the compile-time `-delta * delta` array length assertion failure present in its pinned older `x/tools v0.13.0` dependency.
- Adds `pull-requests: write` permission to the job so the action can post analysis comments to pull requests without 403 Forbidden errors.
- Removes the `work/tiobe**` branch push trigger to avoid duplicate workflow runs; touching `.github/workflows/tics.yaml` in a draft PR triggers testing.
- Verified: All steps including TICS analysis completed and passed on the self-hosted TICS runner.
