Current evaluation

Reporter built snapcraft-examples opencv snap on Wily and ran it on a device with older libstdc++ (GLIBCXX_3.4.21 missing). Maintainer explained it must be built on the target release; reporter verified on Xenial and closed the report as invalid.

Resolution: closed not a bug

Reason: No code change was made: ~kyrofa explained in the comments that snapcraft is not hermetic, so building on Wily and running against a Vivid/Xenial-target base caused the older libstdc++ failure. The reporter retested on Xenial on 2016-03-04, confirmed the example works, and withdrew the bug as invalid.
