Current evaluation

User reported the downloader-with-wiki-part example snap built on armhf failed with OPENSSL_1.0.2 not found. Not a Snapcraft bug; maintainer closed it after reproducing a successful build/run on the matching 16.04 core.

Resolution: closed not a bug

Reason: The failure came from building the example on an older Snappy Ubuntu Core v4 armhf image while the snap linked against a newer libssl, not from a Snapcraft defect. Maintainer sergiusens (2016-01-28) closed it after building the example on the matching 16.04 core (classic dimension), installing downloader_1.0_armhf.snap successfully and running downloader.test without the OPENSSL_1.0.2 error.

Issue body

repro step 1. Install docker on Raspberry Pi 2 Snappy Ubuntu Core 2. Pull and run image from "docker pull ioft/armhf-ubuntu" 3. Setup snapcraft on docker container, and git clone https://github.com/ubuntu-core/snapcraft 4. run snapcraft at /snapcraft/example/downloader-with-wiki-part, and got downloader_1.0_armhf.snap 5. remote install on snappy ubuntu core. #1534530 snapcraft-examples opencv example cannot run on armhf snapcraft (launchpad) closed Reporter built snapcraft-examples opencv snap on Wily and ran it on a device with older libstdc++ (GLIBCXX_3.4.21 missing). Maintainer explained it must be built on the target release; reporter verified on Xenial and closed the report as invalid.
