When I try to build the 15.04 NetworkManager snap [1] inside of a fresh, updated vivid lxc container, using the latest snapcraft 1.x from the PPA ( 1.1.0~vivid~ppa1 ), snapcraft hangs while cloning the git repository:

I checked, and the last time we updated this snap last November, we were still using snapcraft 0.6. I reviewed the 1.x snapcraft documentation [2] and couldn't find anything obvious to explain. Did the handling of source* attributes change?
I'm able to clone the git repository, and then manually checkout the branch inside the container, so it doesn't appear to be lxc/container related.
